Izabella and Peter recently worked with us to create a memorable engagement shoot that was suited perfectly for their upcoming travel-themed wedding. Complete with suitcases and world maps, the engagement shoot set the stage for their Liuna Station wedding.
When their big day came, it was clear that the thematic focus of the wedding was just as on-point as the day of their engagement shoot – but what became more obvious was a generous nod to the inspiration of all the roaring 20’s had to offer.
Stylistic nods to Mary Pickford, Delores del Rio, and art deco icon Greta Garbo were clear in the hair, makeup and dress choices of the bridesmaids and geometric design elements donned all stationary and decor, from Welcome signs to table numbers.
It wasn’t hard to associate this wedding with The Great Gatsby and the bride’s beaded, silk fitted off-white gown mirrored what Daisy Buchanan might have worn on her own wedding day.
We hope you enjoy the stylistic efforts and attention put into this wedding as much as we did.
